During the summer months I'm always on the go.  I love the freedom from school and busy schedules and the ability to do as I wish and come home with the kids when I want to.  And I have to admit, the hubs is really good about my flitting from place to place and sending texts that we're just having too much fun at the pool and won't be home in time for dinner.  He generally messages me back with "Have a great time and send pictures of the kids" followed closely after by "And what should I eat for dinner?".

Now at first this really bothered me.  I mean, he's a 40 year old man…surely he can find SOMETHING to eat in a house that is stocked with food (are you nodding along with me ladies?).  But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that in our nine years of marriages, he's gotten used to me taking responsibility for putting dinner on the table.  Knowing that I had no desire to give up my summer freedom, I decided it was time to find a way to help him put a balanced meal on the table, even when I'm not around.

Knowing that I trust frozen meals when I'm looking for a quick and easy dinner solution, I figured that was the perfect place to start.  But I also knew that the hubs needed something a little more man-sized and protein packed to satisfy him hearty appetite.  Unsure of what options were out there, I headed to Walmart to peruse the frozen meal aisle.  And as I passed by items because they were too small or not filling enough, my eyes finally landed on the STOUFFER'S® Fit Kitchen Meals.
